The Saferidge Sound Studio team is family. We have all known each other for years and are cohesive in our approach to our clients. You are the artist and we are part of your creative support. We all look forward to bringing your project to life!
Paul Saferstein
Founder & Managing Partner
Session Guitarist
Paul built the studio because fo a life-long love of music. He has played and recorded with world-known musicians such as Kip Winger (Winger), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy), Paul Stanley (Kiss), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Phil Soussan (Ozzy), Matt Sorum (Guns 'n Roses), Lita Ford (herself!), Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Steve Vai (nuf said!), and Sammy Hagar (Van Halen). Paul plays guitar with various bands and is available to play on your mixes.Paul won the Louis Armstrong Award for Jazz when he was at Schreiber High School. He was selected to be in the NYSSMA All-Long Island Band, and was first chair clarinet (concert band) and tenor sex (jazz band). He went on to studying Japanese at Cornell University and the Stanford Center for Japanese Studies. He received his MBA from NYU which began his finance career of almost three decades. But down deep -- his love of music carries on.
Scott Persson
Senior Studio Engineer
Session Drummer
Scott is a professional audio engineer, musician, and voiceover artist. Working on national television advertising campaigns, as well as corporate work, podcasts, and film for the past 25 years. Scott has recorded and performed drums and percussion on many chart-topping artists' tracks, including platinum-selling Ingrid Michaelson. He has also toured and recorded in Europe throughout the 1990’s, and continues to perform with several bands.Mixing & voiceover credits include Carvana, Dell, Lenovo, Nikon, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Honda, Gartner, AIG, Coors Light, and a 2023 Superbowl spot for E-Toro.

Jimmy Karagiannis
Studio Engineer
Jimmy graduated from the famous Berklee College of Music and is specialist audio engineer. Having studied and worked with some of the most prominent engineers in the industry, Jimmy brings incredible experience (and great natural talent!) to any mix.
